New, more versatile Stiltz Trio Classic L Homelift unveiled at OT Show
Supported by Stuart Barrow, Occupational Therapist, we have unveiled our new Trio Classic L Homelift at the 2023 OT Show.
Delegates were able to get onboard the Trio Classic L for the first time and engage with the on-stand team regarding its capabilities. This new, inclusive homelift offers greater accessibility and comfort for manual and powered wheelchair users. With a generous platform size and specialist features, Stiltz can now provide an access solution for clients with more complex needs. As a future-proofed solution, it will continue to facilitate safe transfers between floors even if user requirements change over time. This flexibility is particularly relevant when Occupational Therapists are assessing a client’s prognosis which was highlighted on the stand and during two Showcase Theatre sessions.
After his involvement in the theatre sessions, Stuart Barrow commented:
“It is great to have this new homelift to complement the existing Stiltz range as it opens up more options to facilitate identified needs at home…”
The new Trio Classic L was presented alongside the established Duo+ and Trio+ homelifts. The Stiltz team used the three diverse solutions to explore practical and clinical approaches to effective homelift provision. Together, the wants, needs and risks of clients were discussed in a range of scenarios and how homelifts are proven to provide sustainable alternatives to stairlifts.
The Trio Classic L Homelift extends the Stiltz range by providing a new proposition in heavy-duty domestic lifts. Its wider, powered door facilitates easier ingress for larger powered wheelchairs and has near-level access. The lift car is fully enclosed for safety and reassurance whether standing or in a wheelchair and there is the option for full or half-height doors. Once onboard, the minimal aesthetics provide a clean and fresh feel, whilst being lifted by powerful electric motors with a safe working load of 250kg.

“It is great to have this new homelift to complement the existing Stiltz range as it opens up more options to facilitate identified needs at home…”
