Stiltz Homelifts is pleased to announce accreditation to the Advanced Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
Stiltz manufacture domestic lifts that enable positive living and ageing in place, with ethical selling and supply chain practices strictly adhered to. The company works closely with dealers, Occupational Therapists, Grant Officers and HIAs to ensure homeowners and housing tenants with reduced mobility and disability can continue living safely without the risks associated with using the stairs.
CHAS was created in 1997 to improve health and safety standards across the United Kingdom. It is the UK’s leading provider of industry-recognised accreditation and risk management services. To achieve Advanced CHAS Accreditation, Stiltz Homelifts had to demonstrate strong compliance with essential industry regulations, sound management of current health
and safety legislation, and sustainable business practices. Over and above reviewing manual handling procedures through to fire safety, the process evaluated areas such as financial capability, environmental management, quality management and equal opportunity and diversity policies. Domestic lifts specialist Stiltz scored highly in every area, demonstrating a comprehensive and responsible approach to efficiency, ethics, and safety across the business.
Moving forwards, the advanced accreditation means Stiltz Homelifts will have access to the latest training resources, legislative updates and expert advice on topics ranging from health and safety to the environment and human resource issues.
Lachlan Faulkner, Stiltz Homelifts CCO and co-Founder, is justly proud of the accreditation: “At Stiltz Homelifts, we push for excellence in everything we do; from commercial practices and customer service through to home lift innovation and beyond. It’s all about getting it right for our customers and right for each other. As such, we always aim to support our clients and dealers by delivering goods and services to a consistently high standard. This rigorous CHAS review of our business confirms our strong commitment to fully meeting the needs of home lift dealers, end-users, staff and professionals.”
