Supporting Healthcare and Housing Adaptation Professionals
The Stiltz Trade Team comprises colleagues from business development, Trusted Assessors, technical support and order processing / administration.
Each individual works closely with private and local authority occupational therapists, case managers and housing adaptations officers. They help support the prescription of homelifts as part of home adaptation programmes and the timely installation of homelifts into client homes.
Their remit includes advising on suitability during assessments, supporting Disabled Facilities Grant projects and delivering educational CPD training sessions, either at clients’ offices or at Stiltz locations around the UK.
The Trade Team is fully trained and experienced in working within healthcare and local authority pathways, ensuring recommendations are appropriate, compliant and focused on long-term outcomes for clients.
Stiltz Trusted Assessors
Gino Farruggio

Gino is the UK Trade Director and joined Stiltz Homelifts in 2016. He has spent his working life in the independent living sector and has a strong understanding of both industry requirements and the practical needs of end users.
Prior to joining Stiltz, Gino worked with established brands including Minivator and Handicare, where he supported trade, Local Authority and healthcare professionals by specifying stairlift solutions.
Alister Gur

Alister’s background is rooted in practical assessment and understanding how equipment performs in real homes. He began his career at Handicare, working hands-on specifying and overseeing stairlift installations before progressing into sales management and contributing to product development.
He joined Stiltz Homelifts in 2018 and now works closely with Local Authorities, including Sheffield, North Yorkshire and Nottingham.
Michael Wynne

Michael has spent his career supporting Occupational Therapists and Local Authorities to identify appropriate solutions for individual clients. He brings over 20 years’ experience working with organisations that support healthcare, housing and Local Authority professionals.
His background includes assessing for and advising on a wide range of mobility and access equipment. Most recently, he managed the London and South East territory for Prism Medical, acting as a primary point of contact for healthcare and Local Authority clients.
Dean Nelson

Dean has over two decades of experience in the mobility and accessibility sector, with a career focused on supporting access and independence through well-planned home adaptations.
Before joining Stiltz, he worked as a homelift surveyor at Stannah, supporting both private clients and Local Authorities. Prior to that, he spent 19 years at Prism Medical as a Senior Assessor and Surveyor covering the South of England, working closely with dealers and Local Authorities.
